Wayne Washington is enjoying a special photo opportunity with Santa Ana neighboring youth. Wayne Washington is a disabled world class Gold metal weightlifter who competed in the 1992 Paralympics in Barcelona, Spain.  He later won the gold medal  in the world championships in England bench pressing 295 lbs. while only weighing 112 lbs. He was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, “Brittle Bone Disease.” Wayne has been a motivational speaker for over 20 years and has done presentations at numerous churches, schools, colleges, prisons, and corporations. Wayne is an inspiration to all he meets.
